Goals It is aimed to introduce to students the main concepts of environmental engineering and application of the engineering principles for pollution control.
Contents Definition of environmental pollution; Human-Environment- Natural source interactions; Carbon, Nitrogen and Phosphorus cycle; Drinking and wastewater pollution; water and wastewater quality parameters; water and wastewater pollution control methods; air pollution and its effects; air pollution control equipments; soil pollution and its effects; soil pollution control methods; solid waste management; noise pollution; radioactive pollution, environmental impact assessment and renewable energies.
