Goals To introduce the notion of definite and indefinite integrals. To show the fundamental methods and formulas for integration. To apply the integration techniques to science and engineering fields. To investigate the notion of sequences, series and their convergence. To introduce parametric curves and polar coordinates. To examine the system of linear equations and their solutions, matrices and determinants.
Contents Definite Integral, Fundamental theorems of calculus, Indefinite integral, Basic integral formulas, Several techniques of integration, Trigonometric Integrals, Improper Integrals, Applications of definite integral: Area, Volume, Length of a plane curve, surface area. Sequences and series. Convergence of sequences and series. The convergence tests for series. Power series and thre radius of convergence, Taylor formula, Parametric curves, The system of linear equations and their solutios, Matrices and determinants.

1 The notion of definite integral He/She must read the topics which will be discussed in this week from the course material.
2 Fundamental theorems of calculus He/She must revise the topics which was discussed previous week and must solve exercises about these topic.
3 Indefinite integral, Fundamental integral formulas He/She must revise the topics till this week.
4 Techniques of integration (Integration by substitution, Integration by parts) He/She must read the topics which will be discussed in this week from the course material.
5 Techniques of integration (Trigonometric substitutions, partial fractions) He/She must solve exercises about techniques of integration.
6 Trigonometric integrals He/She must revise the topics which was discussed previous week.
7 Improper integrals He/She must read the topics which will be discussed in this week from the course material.
8 Midterm exam He/She must revise all topics in details for mid-term exam and must solve many problems about topics.
9 Applications of definite integral ( Areas, Volumes) He/She must read the topics which will be discussed in this week from the course material.
10 Applications of definite integral (Length of a plane curve, surface area) He/She must solve exercises about the topics which was discussed previous week.
11 Sequences and series He/She must read the topics which will be discussed in this week from the course material.
12 Convergence tests for series and power series He/She must revise the topics which was discussed previous week.
13 Parametric curves and equations He/She must solve exercises about the topics which was discussed previous week.
