Goals It is aimed for the students to relate and evaluate housing policies and problems in terms of different planning periods and urban dynamics and by relating them with multiple variables.
Contents Changing housing policies in parallel to changing planning periods in Turkey are considered from a perspective concerning spatial, social and economic variables and the course evolves so as to gorm critical thinking on the informational background. The course that is continuation of the course Urbanization and Housing Policies I focuses on housing problems and policies, squatter settlements and urban land policies mostly.

1 Students can relate the relationship between housing development, housing problems and housing policies with konut gelişimi, konut sorunları ve konut politikaları arasındaki ilişkiyi dönemsel sosyo-ekonomik yapılanma ile ilişkilendirebilirler.
2 Students can analyze the peocesses behind change they observe in urban sphere and changes in housing sector.
3 Students can comment on the institutional structure in terms of implication and legal structure of housing policy area and housing problems.
4 Students can ongoe their research relying on the information on the necessary resources and tools within the course.
5 Students can analytically consider and develop thoughts on subjects related to gecekondu and urban land in terms of relations of reason.
