Goals To get someone to comprehend that development of Turkish children's literature, this literature's stages of development, development of addressing the literary genres for children, historical development newspapers and magazineschild and children's literature and common characteristics products of children's literature in Turkish communities.
Contents Change the concepts of child and childhood in history. Emerge the term of children's literature. Be debated that different ideas about this term emergence in different periods. Products' characteristics of children's literature that developing in pre-Islam, in the influence of Islam and West, development of products that addressing the literary genres for children, fuctional usages of these kinds, different interpretations which must be present characteristics in products of children's literature (design, content and pedagogical) in different epochs, background of these interpretations, development of publising intended to children, emergence and development of child and children's literature newspapers and magazines. Rewriting of classic works, the emergence and development of children's literature criticism, common products' characteristics children's literature in Turkish community outside of Turkey.
