GENERAL REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
Students placed into any department at Bulent Ecevit University by Assessment, Selection and Placement Center (OSYM) are informed about the registration dates and requirements of the departments they have been placed into.
The first registration process of the students admitted into the programs of the university is carried out on the dates determined and announced by the Rectorship with the required documents. Original documents or copies approved by the University are accepted. In terms of status of military service and criminal record, the procedure is conducted according to the student’s declaration. Students who do not get registered and / or provide the required documents within the announced time lose the right to be registered. The registration of those who declare false information or submit forged documents are cancelled.
Once the registration process is done, the students are provided with student IDs with their registration numbers. Evening students, students of distant education and students who have exceeded their normal studying duration have to pay the registration fee at the beginning of the term. At the beginning of the term, all students get registered to courses in the curriculum of the departments they are studying, getting recommendations from their advisors.
Students who want to study at a Master’s program have to apply directly to the secretary of the related institute with all the documents required for registration. Students who pass the academic and language proficiency examinations are admitted to institutes. Once the exam results are announced on the website, Student Affairs Office conducts the registration process.
Full time international students who have the right to study at BEU are announced on the website once their application has been evaluated. An “Acceptance Letter” is prepared for them for their applications of student visa and diploma equivalence. The students have to submit the required documents and complete their registration processes within the registration dates.
International exchange students are accepted within the framework of the bilateral agreements between Bulent Ecevit University and partner universities. Exchange students are registered to courses indicated on their learning agreements and follow the required procedure indicated in bilateral agreements. At the end of the study period, students are given an official transcript indicating a list of all courses taken with their ECTS information.
